Pelham Smith has 25 years of experience that has included operational management roles in COO, CFO and Corporate Development positions, private equity investing, and commercial and investment banking. Pelham previously served as both Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer of HydroChem Industrial Services, Inc. While at HydroChem, he helped grow the business through a series of acquisitions from $18 million to over $200 million in revenue as the business evolved from a regional company with a single service line into a national company with multiple service lines and international activities. He also served as Chief Operating Officer of Lockhart Capital Management, L.P., a hedge fund management company. His banking and private equity experience includes working with WoodRock & Co., Kleinwort Benson Limited, Berkeley International Capital Corporation and RepublicBank Dallas (now Bank of America). Pelham holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a BS from the University of Alabama.
