As a Senior Associate at Prophet Equity, Mr. Cohen is focused on sourcing, structuring, and closing high-return investment opportunities. Trevor leverages his bulge bracket investment banking experience to assess strategic viability and craft value creation plans for target acquisitions. Prior to joining Prophet Equity, Trevor was an analyst at Bear Stearns in the Natural Resources Group. While at Bear, his coverage universe included companies operating across the energy industry, specifically: coal, drilling, engineering & construction, exploration & production, oilfield services, refining and sources of alternative energy. Prior to the Natural Resources Group, he was part of the Financial Institutions Group and covered community banking throughout the South and Southwest. Trevor has worked with companies on merger financing, capitalization structure and liquidity. For example, he has assisted in providing capital solutions in the form of convertible securities (packaged with premium enhancement derivatives), establishment of credit facilities, placement of high-yield notes, secondary equity offerings and private investments in public equities to name a few. Additionally, he has been engaged in multiple sell-side capacities, advising clients on asset and company level sales. Trevor received his BBA in Financial Consulting, Business Honors from Southern Methodist University.
